Officials Recommend Limits on Eating Kansas Fish

The advisories identify types of fish that should be eaten in limited quantities or, in some cases, avoided altogether because of contamination.  Clint Goodrich is the manager of the Fish Tissue Contaminant Monitoring program. He says the program is aimed at keeping the most sensitive groups safe. “Those individuals would generally be children, women who may be pregnant or become pregnant and folks who may be consuming a lot of locally caught fish,” Goodrich said.
