TOPEKA – (March 4, 2020) – A Georgia machinery supplier has been permanently banned from doing business in Kansas and ordered to refund nearly $13,000 to a Kansas consumer after being found in violation of Kansas consumer protection laws, Attorney General Derek Schmidt said. Marvin Wood, of Dahlonega, Georgia, who did business as MWA Machine Co. Inc., has been permanently enjoined from doing business in Kansas. Wood was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $12,780 to a Kansas consumer, as well as pay a civil penalty and reimburse the attorney general’s office for the cost of its investigation.
