By Kaye McIntyre on Fri, 04/13/2018 - 14:47 Writer, editor and publisher William Allen White would have turned 150 years old this year.  The two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize and publisher of the Emporia Gazette is perhaps the state's best-known journalist.  So famous, in fact, that the University of Kansas named its journalism school in White's honor.  This year, KU marks the milestone anniversary of White's birth with several events, including the release of a new film about White by KU professor and director Kevin Willmott.  KPR's Kaye McIntyre spoke with Willmott to learn more about the film, which highlights White's stance against racism and the Ku Klux Klan.   That's KU Professor Kevin Willmott, producer and director of the new film,...
