Morris County roofer banned from doing business in Kansas

TOPEKA – (April 23, 2018) – A Morris County roofer has been banned from performing roofing services in Kansas and ordered to repay a consumer, Attorney General Derek Schmidt said today. Quinn Wilcox dba Work Busters, of Dwight, has been permanently enjoined from operating as a roofing contractor in Kansas. Wilcox was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $16,759.78 to a Kansas consumer, as well as pay a civil penalty and reimburse the attorney general’s office for the cost of its investigation. Judge Meryl D. Wilson entered the default judgment last week in Riley County District Court after Wilcox failed to respond to a lawsuit filed by the attorney general’s office last month.
