Meeting in Topeka to be hosted by federal Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection TOPEKA – (June 5, 2018) – Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection Acting Director Mick Mulvaney will provide remarks Friday at a town hall meeting in Topeka on efforts to combat elder financial exploitation. Mulvaney also will moderate a panel discussion on the subject. The event is being hosted by the federal Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection with support from the Kansas Attorney General’s Office.
