TOPEKA – (November 14, 2017) – The Kansas Attorney General’s Office will offer a free training session on Kansas open meetings laws in Emporia later this month, Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced today. The training session will be held on Tuesday, November 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Roe Cross Conference Room in Cremer Hall at Emporia State University, located at 15th Ave. and Merchant St. Those wishing to attend should register on the attorney general’s website at www.ag.ks.gov/open-gov or call (785) 296-2215.
